One of critical responsibility for young kids is to learn how to iron theis school uniform.. today we have too many helpers to help them, either grandparents or home helper, but we still need to let them learn house work too, besides everyday homework homework assessment work :P

After graduating from University of York (UK) on Singapore Government scholarship, Sheila Wee pursued on career in The Ministry of Education.  In her tour today, she taught in the Gifted Programme in Raffles Institution and served as Vice Principal of Victoria Junior College. In HQ, she pioneeded work in teacher professional development and championed school innovation policies. Today Sheila spends all her time coaching and mentoring people to unleash and maximise their potential with who they become and what they can do in life.

Sheila will be sharing on children learning style, which I think very critical for myself to learn too because my kids grown up fast and change learning style real fast too! Besides that she will be sharing what type of good brain food can help our children…I'm sure you will learn a lot from her like I do!

Right Brain Parenting : Enzo practical way of learning ENGLISH

Enzo is a deep thinker. So I have to find many different method to teach him especially in language... unlike Selina, she can learn words vocab thru doing more assessment books. Enzo have to learn from games and drawing series...

In this case I have given Enzo words cards and based on that he draw a story related to the words.

I have learnt from Sheila Wee Growing Smarter Kids talk two weeks ago... discovered Enzo and Selina learning style is total different.

Selina is more instant and immediate learning style, Enzo is more deep thinking and sometime kind of slow I thought... but I know now I'm wrong. I have to adjust myself to suit both learning style as it changes from time to time....

Deberah Wong is certified Food Technologist, who have gave birth of bb Eunice. She is my good friend and neighbour too :)

Eunice very fast, at 4+ months old she started slight crawling, at 7 mths old now started standing already... because Deberah is a food technologist, she know what to eat best for both baby and mother.

She will be sharing on how choice of food during pregnancy and how she manage bb Eunice diet too.

Right Brain Parenting - How to improve my child learning skills?

I has been thinking of methods on how to improve myself and my child learning skills. As they grow older I found its more challenging....Shichida and Glenn Doman methods is getting less effective along the way when they switching their thinking or learning skills from right brain towards left brain.. I found out it happen when my children approaching 4 years old. Good or bad it depends on how fast the parents found out and react...

Here's I share some tips of perhaps it helps!

1. Exploring from other parents who's child is older than yours
2. Searching info from forum as per what I always found from http://www.ehow.com/
3. Bring the kids to library more often than going shopping more
4. Visit book store to look for new updates or ideas
5. Invest on effective education package. If financially allow....

hi, I ever came across a sharing from a friend that helps to reduce children severe coughing with thick phelm problem... I tried and it works...but parent pls try with understanding of your children coughing or flu is heat type or cool type....

heat type is every day round the clock 24 hours keep coughing
cool type is only cough at evening, mid-night and early morning

Observe the mouth area is rediness or normal. If rediness, most likely is heat type of flu.

Note that this method is not doctor medician, so pls handle with care and cautious...

Recently I came accross this method, "souping" my kids both leg into warm water help to improve their immu system... it works!





How to Do :


time : 30 mins before sleep


water level as per picture attached, near to knee


1. "soup" in water of 38 to 40 C degree


2. soup till they are perspiring


3. clean and dry water with towel


4. wear socks sleep
